Neo (Chapter one)
I stared at the large brick building which would be my new home for the next year. Yes, I was sent away to a boarding school and this one was suppose to be one of the best schools around. It was Hoshi High, a school that had "high" standards and was made for sports. Unfortunately, it was also my new hell hole. I trudged up the cement walkway and straight into the brass iron doors, which I must say look like crap. The moment I stepped through the doorway I felt as though I was transported into a hotel. The room had a desk just like a sign in place at hotels and they even had the mail slots behind the desk. The room itself had golden walls with black and white checkered carpet, can anyone say old! Then all the furniture was white with decorative golden lining. This place is so mismatched it was not even funny.
"How may I help you?" Replied the man behind the desk before I was even able to speak a word. "Um, yeah I need a key to my room. Its number-"
"56," He cut me off. Okay, seriously, this guy was some major freak. I must be the only new student this year, which is wierd. He handed me a keycard and pushed me on my way. I moved away from the desk slowly and unfortunately not looking out for where I was going. I ended up knocking over a poor girl with my huge duffel bag.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hit you," I dumped my bag off to offer a hand to her. She grabbed my hand with an unexpected amount of strength and lifted herself off the ground. Finally, she looked up at me and glared her large grey-blue eyes. Her brunette hair danced over her shoulders and a side-bang covered her right eye completely. She smiled brightly and nodded her head slightly.
"You look new, whats your name?" She glared brightly at me, her eyes entranced me in a strange way.
"Uh.. Um....Oh... Oh yeah, I'm Neo," I stammered like a fool. Jeese, I need to concentrate in front of a girl. Everytime I meet a new one I am like a 13 year old and I act all stupid around them. I must keep in mind, TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO A GIRL.
